My goal was to get the game good and done by my 30th birthday, two days ago. Real world stuff knocked me back, but right now I'm feeling damn proud of getting my baby out very nearly on time.
I know it's short and rough. But its complete enough and solid enough to endure real world trial by fire - in fact extensive playtesting is really the only way to improve it now. I've been just writing for so long that I can no longer see clearly what's done and what's finished. I need to play it, just staring at it won't help, I've been staring at it so much in the past few weeks that my eyeballs are falling out and I broke the part of my brain responsible for sleep.
So, enough whining about the writing process - we've got a game to get played!:
